Psychomoralitic Clinicians: Taken from the Proven Ranks of Life!

Accreditation
The Institute of Psychomoralitics is the only authorized source of training and certification in psychomoralitics. Only Certified Practitioners of Psychomoralitics may use the term psychomoralitic(s) or claim to practice or use the techniques of psychomoralitics.
Life Experience Prerequisites
All Psychomoralitic Clinicians are Taken from the Proven Ranks of Life! Whereas the vast majority of psychologists become doctors with the sum total life experience of getting grades while majoring in the narrow field of undergraduate psychology and then continuing to get good grades and jumping through various hoops in graduate school in an even narrower field of clinical psychology, Psychomoralitic practitioners not only have the academic aptitude shown by a lifelong love of learning but the characterological aptitude to themselves walk-the-walk of human flourishing amidst the travails of existence.
All candidates for Certification in Psychomoralitics have a unique aptitude for empathetic mentoring and understanding and a proven record of living in accord with a holistic application of psychomoralitics (viz., the Imago Dei Way). The normal certification process for mentors is two years. Mentors in training must be able to give multiple detailed narrative accounts verbally and in writing of their application of psychomoralitics in personal, familial, or community settings before certification.
Psychomoralitic Prerequisite
All Candidates for Enrollment in the Certification Process must first undergo at minimum one course (7) of psychomoralitic sessions. Continued sessions and supervision as needed is implemented throughout the training process
Common Initial Mentoring Curriculum
Mentoring & Psychomoralitic Tracks follow the same initial four semester (2 year) mentoring curriculum. A student's interest, aptitude, and performance during the coursework determine the track taken.
Psychomoraliticans
Certified Psychomoraliticans are taken from the rank of mentors and are qualified to teach psychomoralitics and supervise the training of mentors. Certification as a psychomoraliticans normally takes an additional 1.5 to 2.5 years (with certification in mentoring 3 -4 in total), though conditional certification may be granted prior and time extensions are granted. A Master Degree in Philosophy or possibly a related field (Theology, Great Books, Literature) or its informal equivalent is also required. Psychomoralitic certification requires the supervision of mentoring casework, the passing of both written and oral exams, the submission of detailed case histories, and a Psychomoralitic thesis.
Licensed Mental Health Workers
While licensed mental health workers are not eligible to be certified as psychomoral mentors or psychomoraliticans they may earn diplomas of competency in psychomoralitics.
